This
is my first address book! Marnell lost hers in the move and needed to
buy one. I said NO! I want to "invent" one! I have a Bind-it-All but
wanted to use the coils so I used my WireMate binder. The WireMate is
like the BIA and Cinch, just uses 3:1 wires and coils rather than 2:1
like the BIA and Cinch.
Cover pages are matboard cut with an AccuCut Baby GrandeMark. I LOVE matboard for mini album covers, you can buy huge sheets at Hobby Lobby or get scraps from a framing shop sometimes. I've cut matboard with AccuCut or Ellison commercial steel rule dies AND with the Zip'eSlim and Sizzix Originals/Bigz steel rule dies.
The pages are made with little 4x6 photo pages I got on clearance years ago. I got a bunch and wish I bought more. Works perfect with 4x6 index cards. I HATE having to use white-out or scratching things out when people change addresses, names and phone numbers.
I used my TH Tiny Attacher to staple the pages at the inside, used ATG to glue the rest of the plastic page to the cardstock page and covered with a border die cut.
WARNING: Cut the plastic sheet back so that your binding machine doesn't go through the plastic! VERY difficult to cut even sandwiched in between paper or cardstock.
I FINALLY came up with a use for all the verse stamp sets I had that didn't work well for cards! I like stamping the inside covers with verses better than covering with patterned paper. Hopefully, other people like it too.
